Did you know the PSA started in 1929 and was originally called the Pacific Southwest Sociological Society? Here you can read an account of the history of the PSA Written by Dean Dorn. Dean was the Executive Director of PSA from 1993-2010, He started and continues to maintains the PSA archive at CSU Sacramento where he has reached Emeritus status.
