Full CFP:   HJSR Special Issue 43-Aging in Community

Greetings Relatives,

The Humboldt Journal of Social Relations (HJSR) invites paper submissions for the 2021 Special Issue 43: Aging in Community.  This issue will explore the ways people age in communities of place and communities of identity. We seek work that considers culture, community, and access to systems that support connections and quality of life. While we are interested in work on aging across communities, we particularly encourage submissions from those researching aging in rural communities. Submission deadline: April 30th, 2021.

Research Manuscripts: 12-point font, double-spaced, maximum 8500 words. Commentaries, creative writing, or poetry: maximum 3000 words. Submission details and portal: https://digitalcommons.humboldt.edu/hjsr/
