Greetings! As the official journal of the Pacific Sociological Association, Sociological Perspectives has offered a wealth of pertinent articles spanning the breadth of sociological inquiry since 1957. As we are in process of expanding our editorial board, we would like to invite faculty/professional sociologists to serve as an Advisory Editor for Sociological Perspectives given your expertise and continued support for the Pacific Sociological Association. The primary responsibility of an Advisory Editor is to aid in the manuscript editorial process. This most frequently includes reviewing manuscripts, about 4-6 per year. We may occasionally call on advisory editors to 1) assist in identifying and recruiting Ad Hoc reviewers; (2) provide input when returned reviews are not in agreement. We acknowledge that an experienced and highly-qualified editorial board is crucial to the success of the journal. If you would be willing to serve as Advisory Editor, please let us know by 10/21/16, and please provide 3-4 keywords representing your research expertise (areas in which you would feel comfortable reviewing related articles). Also, feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the role of editorial board members. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
Sincerely, Sociological Perspectives Co-Editors:
Matthew J. Carlson, Ph.D.
Lindsey Wilkinson, Ph.D.
