Every year at the annual meeting of the association, one or more of the following awards are presented: Distinguished Scholarship Award, Dean S. Dorn Distinguished Contributions to Teaching Award, Early Career Award for Innovation in Teaching, Distinguished Graduate Student Paper Award, Distinguished Undergraduate Student Paper Award, Distinguished Contributions to Sociological Praxis Award, Distinguished Contribution to Sociological Perspectives Award, and the Social Concience Award. Nominations for awards are made by members and selected by the Awards Committee. Description of Each Award
